IFRS 18 will fundamentally change how organizations present and disclose financial information. Effective for annual reporting periods beginning on or after 1 January 2027, the new standard introduces significant changes to the statement of profit or loss, aggregation and disaggregation principles, and Management-defined Performance Measures (MPMs). Comparative information will also need to be restated under the new requirements.
