About the role
As an Assistant Tax Compliance professional, you independently handle a variety of compliance tasks and contribute to the preparation and submission of tax returns. You take ownership of your assigned tasks, work accurately and efficiently, and ensure high-quality output in line with our standards.
You play an active role in maintaining high-quality compliance work and supporting smooth client engagements.
Your responsibilities may include:

Preparing tax returns (including profit tax, turnover tax)

Gathering and organizing tax-related information

Drafting simple requests and cover letters

Supporting communication with clients and the tax authorities

Identifying potential issues, proposing solutions, and escalating when needed to engagement managers.
Your profile

A bachelor’s degree in Tax Law, Business Administration, or related field.

1-3 years of relevant experience in tax compliance

Familiarity with Dutch Caribbean tax legislation and the ambition to deepen your expertise

Strong knowledge of financial statements

Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with a structured approach to work

Effective communication skills

The ability to perform under pressure while maintaining high quality standards

Strong command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written; English proficiency is a plus
